At last month’s American Institute of Wine & Food RI Chef Smackdown Chef Joseph Hafner presented Breakfast for Dessert—a cube of waffle-flavored ice cream with Blis maple syrup encapsulated inside, served alongside a piece of waffle, bacon nougatine and crème Anglaise.
