Greening Your Restaurant

Calling all Providence restaurants! Are you interested in learning how reducing, recovering, and diverting surplus food might save you money, feed your community, and help your sustainability goals? Join us Monday, August 31st at 3:00pm on Zoom. Click ‘Find Tickets’ to register today!
Sustain PVD which is the City of Providence’s Office of Sustainability, the Center for EcoTechnology, and Zero Waste Providence are offering a FREE one-hour virtual event to highlight avenues to green your restaurant by finding alternative outlets for your surplus food. CET and ZWP will discuss the strategies, offer initial recommendations, and facilitate a virtual networking discussion.
Hometown Poke and Long Live Beerworks will also discuss their current composting programs, including the successes and considerations.
