For the second time in less than a month Travel + Leisure magazine mentions the excellent food available in Rhode Island. This time it’s in a story in the July 2011 issue of the magazine called “United States of Deliciousness” wherein 51 chefs from around the country talk abut their favorite local spots. Representing Rhode Island is Chef Nemo Bolin of Cook & Brown Public House. Bolin talks about his favorite arepa, a Venezuelan corn cake, that he orders stuffed with braised beef, black beans, avocado and cheese from La Arepa in Pawtucket.
